The Northeast Illinois Council is pleased to announce Robert W. Crawford, Jr. as our 2026 Good Scout honoree. The Good Scout Dinner brings together dedicated friends and supporters to honor individuals who have made a meaningful difference in their communities through service that embodies the values ser forth in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Since 1970, this premier event has raised vital funds to sustain and grow Scouting across northern Cook and Lake Counties, shaping the next generation of leaders.

The Good Scout Award has been presented annually since 1970. The award recognizes community leaders who embody the Scout Oath and Law and support the Northeast Illinois Council.
