Scouter Development at Techny Towers, Techny, IL

This is open to all leaders and assistants or any adult member of a Pack or Troop and any Parent. It is a day of Reflection where as Catholic adults we concentrate on our own faith formation to find a better understanding of the role of religious faith in our lives.

Through a series of guided reflections both the individual and the group examine Scripture passages to ascertain how God is calling each to respond. The program is designed by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting to help us prepare ourselves to better use Scouting as a form of youth ministry. No special knowledge of Scripture or doctrine is necessary – only an honest desire to be reflective and to share those reflections with others.
