THIS EVENT IS FREE!

Registration will be limited to a certain number of Scouts per class. Registration is only available online and is on a first come first serve basis.
Registration may be completed by a scout or by a Scout Leader, Please fill in all contact information so Merit Badge Counselors can contact scouts should the need arise
All Scouts must Pre-Register, NO WALK-INS

Merit Badges (and prerequisites) - Click on Merit Badge for Worksheet

Read the merit badge book and bring it to the workshop, bring to the workshop the printout of the on-line Merit Badge worksheet (See links below) and come prepared to discuss. Bring your blue card signed by your Scoutmaster, pencil and paper and do the following prerequisites (bring them to the workshop). Requirements indicated in the "Finish Later" category will need to be completed with a merit badge counselor at your home Troop / Town.

Communications (20 max)
Prerequisites - 2A, 3, 6, 7
Finish in Class - 1-4, 6-9
Finish Later - 5

Citizenship in the World  (15 max)
Scouts should be 1st class or in 7th grade.  Bring a completed Merit Badge worksheet.
Prerequisites - 1-7
Finish in Class - 1-7

Dog Care (20 max)
Prerequisites - 8
Finish in Class - 1,2,3, 5, 6, 7
Finish Later - 4

Fingerprinting & Crime Prevention (20 max)
Fingerprinting - Prerequisites - None, Finish in Class - 1-5
Crime Prevention - Prerequisites - 2 & 4, Finish in Class - All

Genealogy (10 max)
Prerequisites - 2, 3, 6, 7
Finish in Class - 1, 4, 5, 8, 9

Music (10 max)
Bring your instrument (including voice)

#1 with the Group. Be prepared to perform.

#2 with the Group. Bring your illustration.

3 - Do TWO:
3a - note from parent confirming attendance. Be preapred to discuss the performance.
3b - note from from interviewed person confirming - be prepared to discuss
3c - note from music teacher verifying completion
3d - have the information prepared and discuss with the Councilor

4 - Do ONE:
4a - would need a note from a choir director that permitted and witnessed the effort
4b - bring the composition
4c - bring the instrument and be prepared to play a song
4d - bring the catalog list and be prepared to discuss

(Becasue of the math involved, 7th grade and up please!)

Instructions from the counselor:

Workbooks and blue cards will be provided by the instructor.  Instructions will be given and discussions completed within the class.  The scouts will then read the merit badge book, complete the workbook and take their blue cards and workbook to their unit personal management merit badge counselor to complete the badge. 


Attention Scouts: Not all Merit Badges will be completed at the workshop. Many Merit Badges will require you to fulfill certain requirements after the class is over. Scouts may only sign up for one Merit Badge.
